Founded in 1997, Feline Friends of Destin is part of an international effort working to promote, foster and develop humane non-lethal control programs for feral and stray cats through sterilization that effectively reduces their numbers over a period of time.
Feline Friends respects the sanctity of life and the rights of individual animals and embraces proactive and preventative control methods i.e. Trap Neuter Return (TNR). We test for FeLV/FIV, sterilize, vaccinate, microchip and return unadoptable feral cats where a feeder feeds them everyday. We adopt out all cats and kittens that can become pets. We STRONGLY encourage spaying and neutering of personal pets. There are organizations which can help with these expenses. We will help with feral colonies in Destin. We are a 501(c3) non-profit organization so all donations are tax deductible.
Our Location: Feline Friends of Destin does not have a shelter. We rely mainly on foster homes. If you would like to look at one of our cats, you can visit us at The Cat Clinic on Saturday and Sunday between 12:00 - 5:00 pm. During the weekday, you need to call and make an appointment. The number is (850) 837-3869 or 352-283-0330.

In addition to those groups that are focused on providing Hurricane Michael relief support, there are many community organizations that provide services year round. We encourage you to reach out them.
You can help!
Your financial contributions help feed the hungry, clothe children, aid the homeless, strengthen families, enrich communities, and offer a broad range of charitable support to those in need.
Persistent needs exist for food, clothing, and shelter. Whether you're an individual volunteer or the leader of a charitable organization, we all have gifts to share… and we can all make a difference.
